Tom Lettero, President and Chief Financial Officer
During his career, he was responsible for establishing and administering international marketing offices in Asia, Latin America and South America for Caesars Palace, the Sands Hotel and Casino, the Mirage and MGM Grand. While serving as senior vice president of casino marketing administration at MGM Grand, he was responsible for developing and administering a casino marketing plan that resulted in leading baccarat revenue market share in its first year.
He was responsible for developing business plans aimed at improving distressed assets and positioning them for sale. Beginning in the 1980s, as chief financial officer at the Sands Hotel and Casino, cash flow was improved by over 100% and the asset was sold to MGM.
In the 1990s, while being responsible for the operations and finances of Stratosphere Gaming, the operations were turned around and the property was sold out of bankruptcy. In 2000, as CFO of Aladdin Gaming, cash flows improved over 200% during the three year reorganization and the company was sold out of bankruptcy.
He played a significant role in the planning and opening of eight casinos in three geographic jurisdictions.
