Guy Hillyer, Executive Vice President
Hillyer’s experience includes serving on the Nevada Gaming Control Board. From 1975 to 1987, he served in several capacities including deputy chief and chief of the audit division. He was appointed by the Governor of Nevada as a voting member of the board in 1985.
In 1987, he joined the audit division of Arthur Andersen and became principal in the firm before leaving in 1993. While at Arthur Andersen, he had engagement responsibilities for major gaming companies including Harrah’s Entertainment, MGM Grand Hotels and Station Casinos. He also consulted with gaming clients and development regulatory agencies in Australia, Greece, South Africa, and the United Kingdom.
At Circus Circus Enterprises and Primadonna Resorts, he lead the company’s national and international gaming development efforts. He also served as vice president and general manager for Primadonna Resorts.
Guy is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Nevada Society of CPAs. He is a past member of the American Gaming Association (AGA), Responsible Gaming Task Force, and a former board member of the Nevada Council on Problem Gambling.
